As the floodwaters of the pandemic recede, we continue to discover so many inspirational tales of personal sacrifice and an abundance of reasons to be grateful. While countless Americans suffered the physical ravages of COVID19, and entire sectors of the economy were crippled, many among us stand on terra firma, in a safe position to throw a lifeline to others who have been less fortunate.
